LANGHE AND TRUFFLE TASTING
The Langhe is a specific geographical area of Piedmont located between Asti and Cuneo. It is known for the gentle green hills at the foot of the Alps, for the ancient villages and for the majestic castles, but above all for its vineyards, cellars and great gastronomic tradition.
The Langhe and Roero are the home of many fine and internationally awarded wines such as Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, Barbera, Arneis and Moscato.
This is the land of the famous tartufo bianco (white truffle), so important that the city of Alba holds a national fair for it on annual basis. Alba, as well as the whole surrounding area, is scattered with elegant restaurants or simple trattorias where you can try regional cuisine and of course its exclusive delicacies.
Barolo is also worth a visit, town where one of the most noble wines of Piedmont is born. The town of Bra is known for its variety of cheese to be tasted with a good glass of red!
