DOLOMITES AND THE MOUNTAINS

The Dolomites are a mountain range part of the Alps, located specifically in the North East of Italy. Declared UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2009, they are great for skiing and other outdoor sports where you can enjoy the magnificent views and wildlife.

The most renowned location is Cortina d’Ampezzo, also known as the “Queen of the Dolomites”. Here you can meet politicians, entrepreneurs and people from all over the World strolling down the central Corso Italia with its elegant and fashionable shops or just sipping a hot chocolate at Lovat café.  

But Cortina is not just about the social life but there is an incredible and uncontaminated wildlife too with amazing lakes and forests to go on excursions. Cortina hosted the winter Olympics in 1956 and will do so again in 2026 together with Milan.
